Part natural history, part road trip, and part celebration of a uniquely American fruit, this book explores the surprising story of the pawpaw and the people working to preserve it.

To accompany our discussion, South Central Rural District Forester Chris Mullins will share insights about pawpaw trees in Kansas and their place in our state’s forests.
