DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Bottom Line Conference will be held Thursday and Friday\, August 20 – 21. The Conservation Districts from Kearny County\, Finney County\, Grant County\, Stanton County\, Haskell County\, Seward County\, Meade County\, Hodgeman County\, and Texas County have all partnered together to bring farmers and ranchers together to learn about the benefits of soil health and water conservation in a dry climate. \n\n\n\nThe Bottom Line Conference will take a comprehensive look at techniques and systems that will improve bottom lines\, soil production and profits in the drier Southwest Kansas climate. We promise a number of expert speakers that have decades of success through real-world practice and experience. There is no better time than NOW to learn all we can about soil health.

SUMMARY:Local Water Consult Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Kansas Water Office\, Kansas Department of Agriculture\, and Kansas Department of Health and Environment will be conducting local consult meetings between July 28\, 2026\, and August 27\, 2026\, to elevate water planning and share insights on existing and future funding.  \n\n\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to share work that is being done as it relates to water conservation\, quality issues\, and funding related to community infrastructure and regional planning. The meetings will also allow Kansans to learn about the state’s water supply and how it impacts local growth or sustainability\, as well as explore future opportunities to ensure a clean and robust water supply.
