DESCRIPTION:Compost Fest 2026 is back at KC Farm School and (of course) BIGGER and BETTER than ever!! \n\n\n\nThe event will feature vendors and activities on composting\, food rescue\, ag educational\, and resiliency organizations; black soldier fly demo\, mushroom log making\, bio char burn\, and a HUGE COMPOST PILE construction! ALL THIS in addition to a repeat performance of MICROBE’S: ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE\, an interactive play. \n\n\n\nThe Johnson County Conservation District and Franklin County Conservation District will be presenting The Soil Tunnel Trailer. \n\n\n\nIn addition\, a spring plant sale including ALL the summer veg\, 30+ varieties of tomatoes\, sweet peppers\, eggplant\, NATIVE PLANTS\, flowers\, HERBS…compost and soil mix\, along with our regular friendly vendors. \n\n\n\nHosted by Missouri Organic Recycling and KC Farm School at Gibbs Road
